Apple said it has resolved the issues that were causing disruptions to its iMessage service after complaints earlier on Thursday, as the tech behemoth grappled with disruptions to its cloud services for the third time this week.
user complain report iMessage The outage on downdetector.com began to climb shortly after 4:20am ET (1:50am IST) and later rose to over 1,100. Apple Earlier this week it was hit with a similar outage that shut down services like its mobile app store and music streaming service.
The company did not respond to a request for comment on the reasons for the recent outage. Apple’s corporate employees and retail employees working from home also faced technical problems on Monday Domain Name System (DNS) issues, according to Bloomberg News.
In several incidents over the past year, issues with DNS – an address book of the Internet that enables computers to match website addresses to the correct servers, led to widespread disruptions to social media platforms. Facebook And instagramand brought down the websites of airlines and banks for several hours.
