EA joins Middle-earth Enterprises to develop a new Lord of the Rings game for Mobile

The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth Expected Details
The publisher hasn’t revealed a lot of details about the game, including images, gameplay or characters, except for one image that depicts a partnership between the two firms set against the backdrop of the Middle-earth era.
However, the chief brand and licensing officer for Middle-earth Enterprises, Fredrica Drottos, has also claimed that the game’s setting will be “entirely inspired by Middle-earth as described in the literary works of JRR Tolkien”.
The developers also suggest that the Heroes of the Middle-earth game will feature characters from both The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit franchises. EA also noted that the game will feature “immersive storytelling, turn-based combat, deep collection systems, and an extensive roster of characters”.
Gameplay will include battles from several known stories from the works of Tolkien and is also expected to include social and competitive game modes. EA also hasn’t confirmed the game’s official release date.
