google: Google Drive is adding new shortcuts for better file management

New Delhi: Google Finally adding some useful shortcuts Google Drive, The tech giant is updating Drive on the web with user-friendly shortcuts that will enable them to manage their files with ease. The company is now adding the ability to use cut, copy and paste keyboard shortcuts to Google Drive.
Now users will no longer need to use the right-click menu to cut, copy or paste a file. Now the popular shortcuts Crtl+C, Ctrl+X and Ctrl+V will work on Google Drive. Now you can use Ctrl+X to cut files and Ctrl+V to paste files. Adding shortcuts will make it easier for users to move files around and they no longer have to drag and drop files. This will also save time because you can now copy one or more files and move them to new locations on the disk.
Additionally, the file’s link and its title will also be captured when you copy the file, so you can easily paste them into a document or email.
Additionally, you can also use Ctrl+Enter to have files or folders in a new tab, so you can easily view multiple files at once, or more easily organize files between two different folder locations. You can use different tabs to do this. The company has started rolling out these features and it will reach all users by June 1, 2022.
Recently, Google announced that it would begin warning users about suspicious invites and links that could be a cover for phishing and/or malware-based attacks. The company will alert users by placing a bright red warning banner in the chats.
“This invitation is questionable”. “This conversation contains links to known phishing sites that may attempt to steal your information” to which you may respond by ‘block’ or ‘accept anyway’.
Such warning signs will appear in a large, red banner with an invitation to “From users with personal Google accounts.”
