How to Enable Always-on Black-and-White Display on iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max
Open Settings, then tap Focus. Select any of the focus modes – Do Not Disturb, Personal, Sleep or Task – and choose the option. Now, toggle on “Dim Lock Screen”.
Now, the ‘Always-On’ display on your iPhone 14 Pro will appear darker in black and white. The catch, however, is that you need to turn on the special focus mode.
When enabled, the date, time, and widget will appear in white, while the rest of the display will be blacked out, just like it does on Android.
Opinion seems to be highly divided on the iPhone’s always-on display, while like the way the iPhone works, many people find it distracting. Turning the always-on display completely black on the iPhone 14 is a great trick, but it’s not a solution.
