Mixed Reality: AIIMS Jodhpur collaborates with Microsoft India to set up Mixed Reality Center of Excellence

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Jodhpurhas announced cooperation with Microsoft India. will establish two organizations mixed reality center of excellence AIIMSJodhpur, which will provide medical care, build strong remote healthcare capabilities, and facilitate learning opportunities for staff and students.
The lab will provide medical students with better learning opportunities using mixed reality devices like the HoloLens 2. AIIMS Jodhpur Will also pilot Mixed Reality enabled remote health services in Sirohi district near Jodhpur, to strengthen healthcare delivery at underserved locations.
Dr. Sanjeev Mishra, Director, AIIMS Jodhpur said, “We are delighted to partner with Microsoft in our endeavor to transform healthcare in India. The reimagining of health care in the new normal combined with the changing expectations of patient care has led to the rise of health services in India. and has rapidly transformed the way we approach medical education, moving into an interactive, 3D, mixed reality environment.
