New Delhi: Technology startup of OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei Nothing at all All set to launch its first smartphone. The company has confirmed that it will launch the Nothing Phone (1) in India on July 12. Now a company executive has confirmed that the Nothing Phone (1) will be manufactured in India.

Manu Sharma, Vice President and General Manager of Nothing India confirmed to The Economic Times that the Nothing Phone (1) will be manufactured locally. He further added that India is a major market for Nothing. Apart from manufacturing, Sharma also said that the company is working on expanding its customer support in India. Nothing said it would open 270 authorized service centers in over 250 cities.

Nothing The Phone 1 is expected to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 788G processor. The smartphone is said to feature a 6.55-inch Full HD+ OLED display with 90Hz refresh rate.

The Nothing Phone 1 is said to house a 4500mAh battery with wireless charging support.

The launch event, called “Nothing (Event): Return to Instinct”, is scheduled for July 12 (8:30 PM IST) at 16:00 BST. It will be a virtual event which will be broadcast live on YouTube and Nothing’s official website.
