In a blog post, Adobe said that Content-Aware Fill is one of the landmark features on photoshop desktop, “Today we’re bringing this functionality to Photoshop on the iPad, with a simple one-tap step that takes any selection and uses AI to fill in its content based on its surroundings.” Users can make distracting objects disappear in the background, or simply blend artifacts. They can also use Adobe’s AI technology to remove unwanted spectators in your photos, and remove artifacts and dust.
Remove background from any photo
An important tool in Photoshop is the ability to remove the background on a photo. Adobe has added this functionality to Photoshop on the iPad. “We’ve brought this one-tap action to Photoshop on the iPad to make your work faster and more accurate. Swap any background or place your subject seamlessly within another image,” said Adobe in the blog post , simply open your image and select “Remove Background” under the Lasso Tool or under Quick Actions on the right-side properties panel.
Auto Tone, Color and Contrast
In the blog post, Adobe stated that some of the most common actions taken by Photoshop users to open a photo on the Photoshop desktop are to run some combination of 3 commands – Auto Tone, Auto Contrast and Auto Color. “These commands will give you a one-tap solution for correcting tonal issues or color imbalances, so you can take extra steps to adjust your photos and keep working.”
Some of the other features added to Photoshop on the iPad are related to fonts. Users can now access all 20,000+ Adobe Fonts directly within the Type tool. They can even load their own custom fonts. Other features include renaming your cloud document as you edit it, the ability to sync your cloud document on-demand, pins and annotations other people leave on documents you’ve shared from the comment panel.
