As far as the design update is concerned, Play Store Web now looks a lot like its app counterpart as if it was designed for large screen devices like tablets. However, the actual tablet is a bit different from the Play Store updated web design.
Coming back to the user interface, the first thing you’ll notice is the updated top ribbon. Menu options – Games, Apps, Movies & TV, Books and Kids have been moved up from the side panel. Which type looks more practical and sophisticated.
The search icon, help and profile icon have been moved to the right side of the screen. The top ribbon is visible on all screens no matter where you are on the Play Store website.
Apart from this, the new app listing page also appears similar to the Play Store app version where each detail along with the install button and other details are placed in an orderly manner as we see on the app.
In the Apps section, Play Store Web now gives users the option to filter apps based on phonetablet, tv, view chromebook and car. The games section also follows the same design statement.
