Read Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister’s open letter to Apple CEO Tim Cook

Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister and Ukraine’s Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov has written an open letter Apple CEO Tim Cook, Fedorov has also shared the letter on his Twitter account @FedorovMykhailo. The letter urges Cook to stop selling iPhones in Russia.
“I have contacted Apple CEO @tim_cook to support the blocking of the Apple Store for citizens of the Russian Federation and the US government sanctions package! If you agree to the president-killer, you have to be satisfied The only site available is Russia with 24,” the tweet goes. Here is the letter shared by Fedorov.
Dear Tim,
The Russian Federation has launched a deceptive and absolutely outrageous military attack on my country! Just imagine, in 2022, cruise missiles will strike residential areas, kindergartens and hospitals in the heart of Europe.
Armed forces and civilians are defending Ukraine to the end! The whole world is driving the aggressor by imposing sanctions – the enemy should incur significant losses. But we need your support – in 2022, modem technology is probably the best answer for tanks, multiple rocket launchers (HRD) and missiles.
I appeal to you and I am sure that you will not only listen, but will do everything possible to save Ukraine, Europe and, finally, the whole democratic world from bloody authoritarian aggression – to stop the supply of Apple services and products to the Russian Federation. For, including blocking access to the App Store!
We are sure that such actions will inspire the youth and active population of Russia to stop a humiliating military offensive.
Regards,
Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine • Minister
Mykhailo Fedorov
