The 32-inch Odyssey Neo G8 and G7 models feature 1000R curved panels. However, the smaller 25/27-inch Odyssey G4 comes with a flat panel. The Odyssey Neo is the top model in the G8 series that claims to be the world’s first 4K gaming monitor that boasts of a 240Hz refresh rate. The other two monitors – the G7 and G4 – have only 4K resolution or 240Hz refresh rate respectively. The Odyssey G7 has 4K resolution like the Odyssey G8, but can only support a 165Hz refresh rate. Meanwhile, the G4 can achieve 240Hz but has a lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 (FHD) instead of 4K.
Apart from design, all three monitors are targeted towards gaming, which is expected to offer great viewing angles and a very short 1ms GTG (gray-to-gray) response time. However, some specifications will differ from others for connectivity. The G8 and G7 will come with HDMI 2.1, while the G4 will be limited to HDMI 2.0.
