Swiggy agent in Bengaluru uses Dunzo to deliver order assigned to him, Twitter reacts

Bangalore’s traffic often boggles our minds. Due to the traffic jam, commuters face lot of difficulties on daily basis. Needless to say, even the delivery agents in Bengaluru face this problem for hours every day to deliver orders at the doorsteps of the customers. Seeing the daily hustle and bustle of hour-long traffic and scorching hearings, a Swiggy delivery agent from the capital of Karnataka decided to hand over his order to someone else. Interestingly, this agent used the delivery app Dunzo instead of canceling the order or delivering it to someone from the same delivery company. Incredible, isn’t it?

A Twitter user has revealed the entire incident by sharing a chat screenshot, where his friend opened up on the details with him. According to the chat, the delivery boy was too “lazy” to take the order. The chat read, “I ordered coffee on Swiggy from CCD. The delivery boy picked him up but was too lazy to deliver him here.” Then, he wrote in all capitals, “So he Dunzo-ed me.” To add to the surprise, the Swiggy agent called the customer to inform about the delivery, and also requested him for a 5-star rating.

The post has resulted in several hilarious comments on the social media platform.

For many users, it was just another Silicon Valley phenomenon.

Referring to the growing popularity of Dunzo, one person questioned whether the delivery app takes humans from their homes to their offices, as Ola and Uber are charging hefty prices.

Another curious mind also wondered about the possibility of a Dunzo delivery agent sub-representing it to another service.

One of the users claimed that Zomato and Swiggy have been using Dunzo for quite some time and it has caused a lot of problems. While Swiggy may soon look into the matter, the incident has left many laughing.
