This upcoming WhatsApp feature to make it easier to join group calls

Meta-owned instant messaging and calling app, WhatsApp Keeps testing new features on its app. Recently, the app received a new calling interface for both Android and iOS versions of the app.
Now, it looks like WhatsApp is planning to make it easier to join group calls on the platform.
WABetaInfo has reported that the company is planning to add a new feature called ‘Call Link’. The feature has been spotted in whatsapp beta For Android 2.22.6.5 update.
According to the report, with the new Call Link feature, users will be able to join calls using Lynx. According to the report, users will be able to create a link within their contacts from the call screen itself and share it with anyone, even if their contact is not saved on their phone.
It is also important to note that unlike other call links that we usually create with Messenger Rooms, Teams, etc., users have to be on WhatsApp to be able to join the call. According to WABetaInfo, this is because WhatsApp calls are end-to-end encrypted.
Right now, this feature is being developed and users cannot create or share links with others. However, the feature is expected to roll out with the upcoming WhatsApp update.
Meanwhile, according to the screenshot shared by WABetaInfo, users will find a ‘New Call Link’ option under the Calls section, where users usually create a group call with their contacts.
Also, there is no official timeline available as to when the feature will arrive in the stable version of WhatsApp.
