New Delhi: WhatsApp Launched its own payment facility last year for every user. Now to attract more users whatsapp paymentThe popular messaging app is offering attractive cashback offers to its users. The Meta-owned app is offering up to Rs 105 cashback on sending a minimum of Re 1 to Rs 3 using WhatsApp Payments.
The instant messaging app is rolling out this cashback offer for select users. If you’re eligible for this offer, you’ll see a tab at the top of your chat window with a gift icon. When you tap on that icon it will take you to the payment screen which will show you the message, “For today only: Send money, get Rs 105 back. Get Rs 35 cashback up to 3 times on sending Re 1 or more. Various For contacts. Only for selected customers.”
You can also tap the Learn more option to find out more about the offer in the WhatsApp Help Center. This is not the first time that WhatsApp is offering such an offer. In April this year, WhatsApp was giving a cashback of Rs 33 to payment users.
As per the latest NPCI data, WhatsApp Payments made around Rs 294.98 crore in the month of May 2022 in 3.48 million transactions. This is a very small number compared to other services such as google pay, Paytm And phonepe,
